Press and hold your chosen shortcut: Fn, Option, or Ctrl+Shift. Talkpad starts listening the moment you press.

Privacy
Talkpad listens only while you hold your hotkey. Audio is processed securely for transcription and is not stored after processing. We do not collect screen context, clipboard context, keystrokes, or transcription content for analytics.

The macOS app keeps the latest transcription visible in the menu so a missed insertion does not mean lost words.

When accessibility paste is unavailable, Talkpad saves the result to the clipboard so you can paste manually.
