Choose the language you want to write in, then speak in your own. Talkpad puts the translation into the message, email or document you are working on, so you don't need a separate translation tool.

How it works
Choose the language to write in
On Mac and Windows, pick it in Talkpad's settings. On iPhone and Android, pick it in the Talkpad app or from the keyboard. It stays set until you change it.
Speak in your own language
On Mac and Windows, hold your translation shortcut, which is separate from your dictation shortcut. On iPhone and Android, tap the translate key on the Talkpad keyboard instead of the mic.
Tap Send in your app
The translation is in the current text field, and you send it the way you always do. Talkpad does not send messages for you.
When it helps
Reply to a customer in their language
Answer a question or confirm an order without leaving the reply box.
Message family and friends abroad
Write the way you talk, in a language they read.
Write to a colleague in another office
Send an update in their language from the chat or email you already have open.
Your normal shortcut, or the mic key on your phone, keeps writing in the language you speak, so you can switch between the two as you go. Translation is included on every plan, free included.

Which languages can I write in?
Talkpad supports 100+ languages. Choose the language you want to write in, then speak in your own. Talkpad translates your words directly into the text field you’re using.
Do I have to choose the language every time?
No. Talkpad remembers it until you change it.
Does translation cost extra?
No. It works on the free plan and on Pro. The free plan's weekly word limit still applies.
Does Talkpad send the message?
No. Talkpad writes into the current text field, and you decide when to send it.
