The prompts that work best with a coding agent are the long ones: what the code does now, what it should do, what you have already ruled out. Those are the prompts people shorten because typing them is tedious, and shortening them is what makes the answer worse.
Talkpad is deliberately not a code dictation tool. Speaking punctuation and symbols aloud is slower than typing them. Use it for the explanation and keep typing the code.
Common questions
Will it type code accurately?
That is not what it is for. Talkpad is good at the prose you write to a coding agent, not at dictating syntax, symbols or variable names character by character.
Does it work in Cursor specifically?
Yes, and in any editor with a text field, because it types at your cursor rather than integrating with one tool.
Can I use it in the terminal?
Yes, anywhere you can type. Reviewing what landed before you press enter is a sensible habit there.
Which platforms can I use it on today?
macOS and Windows. iPhone and Android apps are in development and are not publicly available yet.
