1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Talkpad ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License

Talkpad is sold as a one-time purchase. Upon purchase, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, subject to the rules of the applicable app store (Apple App Store, Google Play, Mac App Store).

3. Permitted Use

You may use Talkpad for personal and commercial purposes. You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Redistribute, resell, or sublicence the App
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose

4. On-Device Processing

Talkpad processes all audio locally on your device. We do not transmit, store, or have access to any audio recordings or transcriptions you produce. You retain full ownership of any content you create with the App.

5. No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Transcription accuracy may vary depending on device hardware, ambient noise, and language.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Crucial Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Updates

We may release updates to the App from time to time. Updates distributed through app stores are subject to those platforms' terms. We are not obligated to provide updates, though we aim to do so.

8. Termination

Your licence to use the App terminates automatically if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, you must uninstall and cease all use of the App.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated via the App or our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
